FILLING AFTER CARE INSTRUCTION

  1. Be careful to avoid chewing your cheek or eating anything hot until the numbness wears off.
  1. The tooth that was filled may be sensitive for several days.  If this occurs and it does not go away after a week please call the office so we can check the tooth.
  1. It is possible that the filling can be a little high as you are numb while the doctor is adjusting the filling and you may not be able to tell how it feels. When you bite down, try to notice if the filling is hitting first before the rest of your tooth.  If it is, you need to call the office so we can make a slight adjustment, otherwise the tooth will become sore.
